One of the primary focuses at The Woodbine Clinic of Chiropractic is the treatment of children. In fact, Dr. Lankerani is the only Maryland-based chiropractor who has completed pediatric neurology training aimed at treating neurobehavioral disorders associated with brain imbalance—that is, the foundational imbalance that can occur between the two hemispheres of the brain. These disorders include many of the childhood developmental and behavioral conditions that affect so many children today, such as ADHD, dyslexia, PDD-NOS, Asperger’s syndrome, and autism. And while Dr. Lankerani does not diagnose any of these conditions, he does provide chiropractic care with the goal of treating the underlying cause of the condition.
