Meet the Doctor

Dr. Lankerani grew up in Gaithersburg, Maryland and attended The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. for his pre-medical education. He continued his education at the prestigious National College of Chiropractic where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and Doctorate of Chiropractic. Dr. Lankerani is a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, is affiliated with the American Academy of Hospital Chiropractors, and has published over 12 internationally known scientific publications.

At The Woodbine Clinic of Chiropractic, Dr. Lankerani sees over 4,000 patients a year. He specializes in perinatal (pregnancy, infants, and babies) care and frequently does public speaking on a variety of topics including health, wellness, and nutrition. In addition to his chiropractic instruction, Dr. Lankerani has received specialty training in acupuncture orthopedics, structural biomechanics, pediatric neurology, the Webster Technique, and childhood developmental and behavioral disorders. Dr. Lankerani’s notable accomplishments include being:

•    Certified in the Webster Technique to aid expectant mothers during pregnancy

•    The only chiropractor to ever assist a woman pregnant with naturally conceived triplets

•    The only chiropractor in Maryland who has completed pediatric neurology training aimed at treating a spectrum of neurobehavioral disorders associated with brain imbalance
